China
World number two Andy Murray celebrated his fifth title of the season and 40th overall after winning the China Open on Sunday.
The Scottish three time grand slam winner outclassed Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets in the final as he continues his stunning year which includes the Wimbledon and Olympic titles.
The 29-year old had not dropped a set all week in Beijing and locked down the first on the finale winning it 6-4.
Murray was pushed all the way to a second set tiebreak but he claimed a mini break early on and never looked back as he wrapped up the match in one hour and 57 minutes for his Maiden China Open title.
Murray is now closing in on Novak Djokovic’s world number one ranking and next week will be seeking a third Shanghai Masters crown.
He has a first-round bye in Shanghai and then will meet either American Steve Johnson or Slovakian Martin Klizan.
